We all know as a Leader in MLM that your job is to help guide and direct your group, and to keep them on the Right Power Path to success….

It seems that everywhere I have the honor of speaking that questions always seem to come up, and it is a thrill to answer them, but also learn from them as well…as I learn from the discussion that usually follows the question…

recently….

I was in Chicago, and someone asked a very interesting question…and it really got me to thinking…

And I have thought about it since….

This young lady…(smart and beautiful!) came up and asked a question that I guess could have a thousand answers…and all of them right…

What was the question?

"As a Leader, what is the Biggest mistake that Leaders let distributors make that has the Biggest Impact on their business?"

I was caught off guard, as that is a REALLY good question…and I chatted with some friends of mine since then, and and really thought about it…

It could be a host of answers…

Not teaching them to train their people..
Not trainig them to keeping in touch…
Not leading them….but managing them…
Not teaching them to be accessible…
Not teaching them to return their phone calls.
The Leader Playing the "big shot"….WRONG MESSAGE!
Not training to teach 3 ways….(CLUE!!!!)
Not setting an example…
Being negative to your downline…(DUMB!)
Not training to recognize their Stars frequently…
Not training them to edify their downline…
and the list goes on…

and on….

But….

There is one BIG mistake that I believe has more of an impact on their Business, Check, and Staying in the Business than anything….

And many Leaders do the same thing….

"Too Many Distributors spend Too Much Time with Too Many People who have Too Little of an Interest…."

it's called:

CHASING.

And right in the middle of the word Chase is the word HAS…

as in HAS BEEN….

And that is what they will be in this business if they continually chase folks….

Leaders should let their people know that usually these Rules apply when recruiting:

KILLER Secret:

If someone hasn't made a decision to join your company within 7 days….

The odds of them joining you diminish daily after that…

Are there exceptions?

of course…there are to all rules in MLM….

But for the most part, we taught our folks that most people that join you in your quest…

.. have a HIGH Recruiting IQ….

They Ignite Quickly!

They decide quickly to join you…and they get excited quickly…and they are OnFire Quickly!

Most people are "campers" when it comes to persuing people…they "camp out" at their doorstep waiting for them to make a decision….

When 5 more interested people just walked by…but they didn't notice…as they were too focused on Waiting For a Decision….(sound familiar????)]

Yes…you need to "drip" on people…but not only them!

As a leader in Network Marketing, you need to do this:

KILLER secret:

Train your people on the "7 Day Rule"….if someone hasn't made at least a favorable comment about joining within 7 days…put them in the "Oven to bake"…and follow up with them later…and let them bake for a bit…they do not have a High Recruiting IQ…and go find someone who does…

And train your people not to be surprised when they follow up and eventually take the "Cake out of the Oven…"…and find that it never baked …due to lack of interest…and fire(the prospects fire) to bake it…

But the Secret:

KNOW THIS…..

That for everyone who has LITTLE Interest in what you are doing…

If you quit chasing and begging them….

You will run into INTERESTED people…by accident…

Happens all the time…and as a leaders you need to know that…

Funny what happens when you quit CAMPING…..

and go HUNTING……(CLUE!!!!!!!!!!)
