CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY!

EVERY INDIVIDUAL SEEKING TO ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS AND GOALS MUST UNDERSTAND… that consistency is the trait that practically guarantees long-term success. Many people “know what to do,” but few follow through with a consistent daily plan of action.

Consistency is more crucial to creating long-term financial results than talent, leadership, or knowledge. All of these traits can contribute, however, nothing beats the ability to focus consistently on the task at hand.

When it comes to Direct Sales and Network Marketing, I know a little bit about consistency. I began my full-time career in this industry almost 13 years ago. Like many people, I struggled my first several months. I achieved some moderate success a couple of times and actually enjoyed six figure income results after less than two years full time. That glory was short-lived, unfortunately, the company I was working with decided to drastically change the compensation plan. Needless to say, my six-figure income rapidly evaporated. Had I not made the decision to remain focused and persistent in my marketing efforts, I could have easily become a casualty of the jungle.

Instead of giving up when things looked bleak, I persisted. Was it tough? Absolutely! Were there times I wanted to quit? Absolutely! Were there people, including my parents, who told me I should quit? Again, the answer is a resounding Yes! But I wasn’t going to give up on my dreams or myself. I knew that people experienced tremendous financial success in this industry and I was determined to be one of them.

Persistent and consistent action is the only explanation I can give for my ultimate success. Over the years I’ve met people with far more talent and ability than I possessed but where are they now? Sometimes, the most talented ones are the first to fold their tent. Why do you think that is? I believe it is because talent can be developed and taught over a period of time, but the white-hot burning desire to achieve is something is heartfelt and can never be taught to someone. You either have it or you don’t. Once you find that unquenchable desire in yourself, make it your passion to become the best student of success that you can possibly be. Then, couple desire with those learned skills and be willing to be consistent in your efforts. Then you truly will be on the road to fulfilling all of your goals and dreams!
