Building links to your blog should be justas important to you as building links toyour website. First thing you should do is getyour blog listed in all the major onlineblog directories.
This will build traffic to your blog andmake your blog better known on the web.
One of the best places for this is

Actually, there are over 100 listings now andit takes a bit of time to go thru all of thembut just put aside a few hours in the day andjust submit your blogs.

o Google's Playing Dodgeball!

Chess has always been a favorite game of mine,I am not much good, never was and never will be -but the strategy amuses me. Figuring outyour opponent's moves, their thinking and gameplan is what makes chess fun to play.
Trying to figure out Google is much like playingchess. First it was just a search engine with analgorithm to die for - now it's starting to play awhole new ball game - with strange moves intosome unknown territory.
Indexing and cataloging all the works in all theworld's great libraries - was understandableand reasonable. Who Else?

But buying Dodgeball.com seems to be a real puzzle - arethey moving on to collecting and dispensing personalinformation now - (for a good time call…!) or are they justsnapping up any fresh talent that raises its ugly head inthe 'dot com' world.
It's more than likely the latter, and it's probably nota bad strategy, more than any other medium in history,the web rewards 'creative brains' that come up withnew and innovative ways to use it. Google can now affordto snap up any new 'brain talent' that comes along - rapidlybecoming the 'new Medici' of the wired world.
Which might not be a bad thing, putting Google's enormousresources behind such creative brains could producesome interesting new inventions!

Their Blog has a PR9 - wonder how they got that!

o The Spyware Threat

Despite an encore round of the flu - all this week Ihave been checking out the spyware threat. Is it real?Should you be concerned? What you can do to protect yourself?
I have been reading and analyzing a great report byWebroot on the 'State of Spyware' - you canget a free copy here. You will need Adobe 5 or higher - to be ableto read it. State of Spyware

I will be writing 5 or 6 articles on this topicin the next couple of weeks and although it doesn'thave much to do with RSS - I will be reporting aboutit here - so stay tooned!
Besides, if you surf the web and own a computer you shouldbe afraid, very afraid - but more on this next week.
